# How to send chats on Livetree

You can send chats to anyone on Livetree by following this quick guide:

Step 1: Select the profile of the person or collective you’d like to chat with

Step 2: Hit the “Message” button and start a conversation

Step 3: Go to your collective profile and hit the “chat” button to view chat messages and respond to chats
